Employment Outlook for Executives is Looking Up
Houston, TX (PRWEB) September 17, 2007 -- The employment outlook for executives is looking up. Larry Keim, an employment industry expert follows the trends of executives who are currently working with professional career management organizations.
Reports from nearly every organization that Keim works with reveals that executives are landing jobs at an increased rate over last year, in some markets as much as double. Keim admits that the results he has are based on executives and managers who have the advantage of having assistance in their search efforts. "These people have hired professional firms to help them with their job search. It is not unlike a professional golfer, who is an expert at what he does, yet still hires a coach to help him improve. The higher you go, the more competitive it gets. It helps to have an edge."
At a time when some are saying that the low jobless rate only means that lower paying jobs are filled with high paying jobs disappearing, Larry Keim says it's not so. "Executives and managerial professionals are landing jobs because they work at it," Keim says.
Larry Keim started as a career adviser and career coach over a decade ago and has a distinguished career as a guest lecturer and has been a featured speaker on several occasions for the New York Times "Networking Nights" program. Keim also co-hosted a special one-day career marketing seminar to displaced workers who became unemployed as a result of the 9/11 tragedy in New York City.
"The secret to developing the right networks is not necessarily knowing the right people. It is getting to know those people even if your current network has run dry; it is having the right tools and learning the methods needed to produce the desired results." Keim says that although there is a great deal of information in books on the subject, nothing compares to personalized coaching and assistance.
Larry Keim is a resident of South Texas, and spends his time providing career related services and advice to career management organizations throughout the U.S and mentors professionals in the career management industry.
