Many financial experts agree that the United States is in a recession. That is the bad news.

Now for the good news. General economic theory holds that there tends to be a re session ever eight years. The entire history of the modern Unite States reflects this boom and bust cycle. Consistent, network marketing has grown during the down turns.

When recession hits, many people are going to search to find other sources of income. In their frantic searches they are going to find the best alternative is network marketing. Another factor that will fuel the growth in network marketing is that many baby boomers have put their life savings into the stock market. With the stock market falls they will see their retirement plan funds lose 25 to 50 percent in value. Panic will follow and baby boomers will look for secondary ways to build a residual retirement income.

Recession. For some the word strikes fear, but for others the word means opportunity. An opportunity to prosper during what most see as disaster. Recession causes people to open their minds to gaining alternative sources of income. If they are still employed, they are worrying about the possibility of losing their jobs or lower pay. If they are unemployed, they are seeking ways to build without spending large amount of money to start a business.
