E-Commerce Jobs Increase in Demand as Holiday Shoppers Cash Out Online

(PRWeb) December 6, 2006-- More Americans than ever will do their holiday shopping online this year, boosting revenues for e-commerce businesses and creating a greater demand for trained professionals to staff digital storefronts. Reuters reports shoppers will spend 7.5 percent more on e-commerce Web sites this year than in 2005. A recent Business-Programs.com article, "The E-Commerce Wrap: Online Holiday Shopping for 2006," suggests the consumer surge may create a job boom for Web professionals if they have the right education. In December 2005, online companies reported a sizzling $624 million in sales. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the 2005 American Customer Satisfaction Index reported an 81 percent increase in online retail customer satisfaction. In the same report, CEO and president of online measuring firm, ForeSee Results, Larry Freed stated "online retailers are far out-performing traditional retailers {in customer satisfaction ratings}."

This high consumer confidence in e-commerce will push online marketing management to improve their platforms to appease customers. Business-Programs.com columnist AJ Fanter reports e-commerce firms can do this by seeking programmers, designers, developers, point of sale software, and customer support.

Business-Programs.com provides information about online learning programs for students seeking associate's degrees in e-commerce or Web developer courses that can help managers keep future holiday sales running smoothly. Online courses and degree programs include software publishing and development, computer systems design and many more business-related programs.

Statistics show the need for e-commerce marketing and management professionals to pay attention to enterprise staffing, Web performance, and customer support. Online sales were up 25 percent last year. If e-commerce trends continue, trained professionals will be in high demand.

Business-Programs.com offers educational resources to succeed in the competitive world of business, whether visitors want to earn an MBA or even a business technology degree. Visitors can browse a directory of business schools or visit an extensive library of articles focused on business programs.

Your New Career is Just 1 Click Away
Everybody would love to make lots of money quickly, working from home, and only doing a few hours of work per week. I've spent the past two years trying to find a great way of doing this. Only over the course of the past few months have I found any "get rich quick" programs worth buying. I've been trying to make money online for a long time. I had a few small websites, but they never made much more than a few hundred per month. It was easy money and didn't require much work on my part, but I knew there were people out there doing better than I was and I knew I could do as well as them. Now, I've seen a lot of "get rich quick" programs. Most of these people make claims about earning $2000/day with Google or something similarly insane. Almos...
